Chinese Delegation Signs Agreements in Minnesota and Chicago

A 27-member delegation representing 13 Chinese companies signed agreements in Chicago and Minneapolis for U.S. soybean purchases of over 240 million bushels of U.S. soybeans in the current and next marketing years. These agreements demonstrate the commitment of the Chinese soy industry to strengthen their relationship with U.S. farmers and exporting organizations. Delegation member companies purchased 67% of the 435 million bushels of U.S. soybeans imported into China in FY2005.
